Chronicles of Jackdaw

Wed, 26 Apr 2000

Hail Kinak,

I was travelling with my faithful Eevee at my side. We took a short cut off the path through some tall grass not considering the dangers, which were soon upon us. Diving from the sky at great speed, a Spearow struck my poor eevee off guard. It was knocked off its feet. The jealous bird furiously pecked my defenseless eevee until I managed to bat it away, but only temporarily. The Spearow direct its flight back around towards us. I clutched eevee in my arms prepared to flee, but he leaped from my grasp. He was not ready to accept defeat.

The enraged avian swooped down with its razor talons pointed to eevee, and he leaped to the bird with anger in his eyes. Before the two bodies collided, eevee made an unexpected arching of his back, causing his body to to spin. In a loud crack, his tail stuck the Spearow. The sharp pain stunned it, and before it could realize it, was crashing to the ground. Eevee dashed to the grounded bird hoping to keep it that way, but it took off back to the sky too fast for him.

He seemed to be a little groggy from that first blow. He walked with a limp. Of course, the Speapow had its share of damage, as well. The fall seemed to injure one of its wings, and it had trouble staying aloft. The bird was becoming tired from struggling to fly and wished to end the battle. It flapped its wings with all its might and rose high into the sky, almost out of site. At the peak of its climb, it folded its wings and plummeted earthwards. From its altitude, the impact would kill what ever it hit.

Eevee, upon seeing its ascent, started to act strangly. It kept on turning and flailing its limbs and tail in all directions. It looked like it was panicing or suffering from some sort of convultion. The bird was gaining speed and aimed directly at my eevee. Finally, it became clear as to what my pet was doing.

Its frantic movements had sent clouds of dust into the air, forming a barrier impenitrable by sight. The spearow, having lost its target, quickly tried to pull from its downward descent, but was not too successful. It crashed upon the earth. Eevee mildly walked up to it, and victoriously placed its paw on its body. Being the kind hearted person I am, I desided to capture it so it could receive medical aid. I dropped a Pokeball on it...

Pokemon and Pokemon characters are property of Game Freaks, Creatures, and Nintendo. I did not make them nor do I take credit for them. However, most characters and various other things included in this fanatic fiction are of my creation, so hands off!
