Chronicles of Jackdaw

Mon, 12 Jun 2000

Hail Kinak,

Growing tired of waiting at Stone Town, I decided to venture on to kick some of Misty's sorry Pokemons' butts. I journeyed to Cerulean with Kelly. I shouldn't be gone long, so she comes with me to keep me company. Since there is no real road between Cerulean and Stone Town, trouble is expected. And I find it.

We wandered through a forest when a strange sound is heard. We both identified it as the buzzing of Beedrill! We must have come too close to their hive, and now they were mad. I told Kelly to make a break for it while I fended them off. Playing their weaknesses to my advantage, I sent out Fucho, my Spearow, and Mooky, my Mankey.

Fucho thrashed at the swarm descending from the trees with his pointed beak. Their attacks proved useless on him. Mooky took care of any one the ground that happened to escape Fucho. With swipes of his claws, the Beedrill slowly fell. The hive was much bigger than I had intisipated. Beedrill kept on falling upon us. Unconscious bodies that riddled the ground soon began to make vast piles.

My Pokemon soon became too tired to fight after fending off hundreds of them and were soon overtaken. I risked my life and limb to save them. I took my backpack and beat them away from atop my monsters. They seemed to just be a little scratch. I returned them to there balls, but then found myself surrounded by the poison bees.

As they began to attack, they were blown away from some unseen force. 'Twas Rei, my Gastly. It had slipped out of its ball when it sensed I was in danger. It showered the insects with specteral rays of black energy. Once I was freed and out of dangers way, it put the beedrill to sleep. Not taking any chances, we ran from the site as fast as we could in hope of them not following us.

Pokemon and Pokemon characters are property of Game Freaks, Creatures, and Nintendo. I did not make them nor do I take credit for them. However, most characters and various other things included in this fanatic fiction are of my creation, so hands off!
