Encyclopedia Bimblesnaff: Rubber Man

A former janitor who gained the powers of rubber and uses his abilities to dodge crime fighting.

Entry: Rubber Man
Series: Not Quite Heroes
Origin: Rubber Man
Generation: 2nd
Created: 1994

Previously known as Rick Richards, his body is entirely made of a super bouncy, stretchy, and durable rubber developed by his uncle, Dr. Rubber (now his archnemesis, Dr. Bolt). He has the ability to stretch out great distances, when stretched. He lacks the ability to pull himself out, making his power much less useful.

History:

Rubber Man was created from a "character brainstorming" session held between my brothers and I. Quite honestly looking down at a cube shaped eraser, I thought up the idea for him. He appeared in a monthly comic series in '95. The thirteenth, unfinished comic was to reveal his mother. Rubber Man remained unused in any series until appearing as a major character in Not Quite Heroes in '02. Such came in retaliation to his appearance in my brother's work, The Greatest Comic.
