The best friend of Blob.

When the Krabs first attack, it is this gelatinous gent that saves Blob by scaring away the foes with his Slime Fist. He teaches this technique to his friend but is too injured to assist on the journey. He asks that Blob only saves the day (yeah, that's easy) and returns his brother, Stretcho back to normal.

History:

Slimie was originally just a blue/cyan version of Blob. Since that was lame, he was later changed to be more stretched. This came from him being the one that teaches Blob how to use the Slime Fist attack. It was this visual change that led to him being the brother of Stretcho.
