Encyclopedia Bimblesnaff: Spring Ball

The bisected, coil connected, slinking ball.

He bounces, he stretches, and he can climb down stairs with mild assistance. He joins the regulars on the Ballzo Show in entertaining the viewers. The coil joining his halves is not his only spring. Those eyes are also dangled on bent wire, although it rarely comes into much use, much like his normal spring.

History:

Spring Ball was an accident. He appeared amidst a cast of characters for tryouts to be in Ballzo's program. All of them were lame, which should have made them fit right in, but Spring Ball struck a cord. He began appearing in later issues without explanation, gradually taking up spots that would have been filled with Ozllab.

When Not Quite Heroes debuted, whenever more than one ball character were interacting, the pool called upon where Ballzo, Mad Ball, and Spring Ball. He made his way from a joke to a surviving character.
