Mad Goblin's Rants and Raves

It was a Nice Day for a White Wedding...

You have to love how much people love standing by traditions, even if it means breaking them in the process. They get so swept up in the idea, that it completely slips their mind as to the original purpose. I speak today on white weddings, the bride wearing garb as immaculate as herself. ... Yeah freakin' right! We all know that ain't true. It's suppose to be a reflection of your chastity, girl, in which case yours would even be far from off white. We're looking in more of the black territory. I mean, do they think they're fooling anyone? They must be so air headed to think, "Oh, no one will know. Now then, in the wedding, my sweet, little angel can be the flower girl, and my teenage son can be an usher! I hope they learn from me and marry young!" Seriously, what ever happened to shame? You think enough people would be murmuring in the crowd to give the dame a hint, that is to say, if she didn't already get the hint from everyone outright bawling when they heard what color she was wearing. Bottom line: Just 'cuz you are, don't think we're stupid, too. No one buys it. People may not be able to see your face from beneath that milky veil, but the soul shines through like a lump of coal, you strumpet!
