Squish Pod- Life Forms

There's a wide assortment of life in the land of the Squish Pods. Here's a glimpse at the one's currently known about. Who knows how many others will be discovered? (ie: made later)

Heroes

Pod

Squish

The li'l guy that you must guide through the dangerous dungeon. He's not too quick on his feet... er, stumps? Regardless of his anatomy, what he lacks in swiftness is made up for in spirit. But, since that can't fend off the bad guys, he also can shoot out blasts of energy in a number of types. Only a weak pulse can be used most of the time that can only stun a foe. However, he also has a number of powerful attacks in his arsenal, called Specials.

Enemies

Pod

Tentas

A slithering, crawling fiend who infests nearly all levels of the dank pit. Fortunately, it does not care too much about those lurking in its depths. While it does get in the way, it doesn't normally go after intruders unless provoked. Try and avoid it when possible, and don't hit it too much. It gets mad each time you do, and once it gets really mad, look out!

Pod

Drijle

A floating tendril that glides about in the dungeon. It is the only thing down there that can go over walls. It likes to pop out of no where and crash down onto you. Keep a look out over head. It is a bit tougher than a Tentas but not by much. Also, it is rumored to have a special weakness.

Pod

Shynak

An over inflated bag of hot air that carries a pleasant surprise: a regular shot takes it down. Sadly, there's also a horrible surprise with it. Whenever it is taken down, it explodes into a burst of Nega Energy. It likes to patiently wait for Squish to get a little bit closer before jumping out at him. Try to get it at a distance.

Pod

Blaslug

This grounded enemy will not, and cannot, move. It just sits planted in one place. From here, it flicks its tail about to cover the area in deadly Nega Shots. Shooting it stops its attack for a while, but when it recovers, it becomes worse than before. Don't plan to stay around one for too long as the situation turns dire quickly. And don't plan on killing one any time soon. It won't go down easy.

Pod

Pudaef

It's swollen, stumpy, lethargic, and blind. That doesn't sound too threatening, right? Wrong. This wretch pays close attention to the sounds you make. If it hears a shot or special being used, it races to the scene. Not much can slow it down when it's charging full force. It is better to ease your trigger finger around one as killing it is made more difficult with its hearty fortitude.

Pod

Kogner

An armored shell that bounces about aimlessly in the dungeon. While it does not actively seek you out, it always seems to be in the way. A shot will knock it away, but it'll be bouncing back to you in no time. It is best to just try and get on by it fast.

Pod

Anonam

A roaming threat that litters the ground with tiny hazards. Unlike its sedentary cousin, this one throws its attack high, meaning it can travel over walls and other foes alike. They are only a danger once they hit the ground, so be sure to get out of the way of their shadows while they are still up.
